The Study:
The purpose of this study is to investigate the relationship of eating patterns (both behaviours and thoughts) and friendships among adult females. The data collected with help develop a better understanding of how these variables relate. To prevent possible biases in responses, the hypotheses of this study will not be disclosed until after the completion of the questionnaires. Upon completion, there will be a full debriefing of the study and participants are encouraged to send the researcher questions or offer comments.

Participation:
Choosing to participate in this study involves answering a series of multiple choice questionnaires that should take about half an hour to complete. You can choose to skip any question and you can stop taking the questionnaire at any time. Your responses will remain anonymous; each questionnaire is assigned a number and the responses will be stored privately so that only the researcher and supervisor may access the data. However, due to the nature of the internet the confidentially of the information transferred may be compromised. Also, the data will only be used for the study outlined above.
